Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for electrical materials.
- Obtain competitive quotations, prepare comparison statements, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure consistent material quality and timely deliveries.
- Handle import and export purchases of electrical materials, including coordination with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely shipment and compliance with export documentation and regulations.
2. Material Planning & Control
- Plan and forecast material requirements based on project schedules, BOQs, and consumption patterns.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
3. Vendor Management
- Maintain and update vendor databases with approved suppliers for different categories of electrical materials.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations (quality, delivery, cost, and service).
- Ensure vendor compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
4. Cost Management
- Analyze purchase budgets, control procurement costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Negotiate bulk purchase deals and long-term rate contracts with key suppliers.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and related procurement documentation as per company policy.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, and ISO or statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and resolve any invoice or delivery discrepancies.
6. Coordination
- Work closely with project engineers, estimators, and stores to ensure material availability at site as per project schedule.
- Liaise with logistics and transport vendors for timely delivery of materials to project sites or manufacturing plants.
- Coordinate with quality control for inspection and acceptance of incoming materials.
7. Market & Technical Awareness
- Keep updated on market trends, new product developments, and pricing for electrical components.
- Evaluate alternatives and new suppliers that can offer better quality, price, or delivery performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master Degree
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical procurement or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, technical specifications, and vendor networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
