A. Procurement & Sourcing

  • Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers of natural and synthetic rubber.
  • Execute end-to-end purchasing activities: RFQs, negotiations, contract creation, and purchase order issuance.
  • Ensure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and reliable supply.
  • Manage supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.

B. Trading & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor global rubber markets, price trends, currency impacts, and demand-supply dynamics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commodity exchanges, futures markets (e.g., TOCOM, SGX), and global rubber production regions.
  • Provide internal forecasts and recommend trading strategies to optimize cost and mitigate risks.
  • Evaluate hedging or forward contracting options (if applicable).

C. Contract & Risk Management

  • Manage short-term and long-term supply contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to price volatility, logistics, quality, and geopolitical factors.
  • Develop alternative sourcing strategies during disruptions.

D. Logistics & Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with logistics teams on shipment planning, delivery follow-ups, customs clearance, and warehouse scheduling.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Resolve supply delays, quality issues, or shipment discrepancies.

E. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, quality assurance, finance, and sales departments to forecast demand and manage supply planning.
  • Support R&D and manufacturing teams in material trials and new product development.
  • Provide cost updates and support budgeting activities.

F. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, market reports, pricing trackers, and supplier databases.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on purchases, market conditions, and cost forecasts.
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation for all procurement and trading activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
