Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer for our motor manufacturing unit. The role involves handling procurement of raw materials, components, electrical parts, and other production-related items. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials such as copper wires, laminations, bearings, stampings, electrical components, etc., specific to motor manufacturing.
• Float enquiries, compare quotations, and negotiate with vendors for the best price, quality, and delivery.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP system and follow up for on-time delivery.
• Liaise with production, quality, and stores departments to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor database.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, material rejections, or non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and quality standards.
• Track market trends in motor manufacturing components for cost optimization.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound material clearance and transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
