Job Description – Purchase Manager (Procurement)
Experienced mainly in the PURCHASE of street light equipment like Poles, Cables, Panels, Wires, and transformers.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates with B.Tech ( Electrical) / Diploma
Professional Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Candidates must possess experience in the following:
- Evaluating potential vendors & obtaining quotations and estimates from them
- Dealing with vendors & negotiating prices and terms of purchases,
- Comparing costs, finalising pricing & handling purchases
- Preparing/Reviewing Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Sale Challans, etc., in accordance with requirements
- Follow up with vendors for procurement & timely delivery of material
- Managing logistical arrangements- arranging and coordinating with transporters & drivers
- Reading BOQ, BOM, GFC drawings
- Floating RFQs (Request for Quotations)
- Technical & commercial bid evaluation (TBE/CBE)
- Ability to interpret technical specifications
- Follow up with transporters/drivers to ensure timely delivery of material
- Coordinating with field staff regarding present/future requirements of material on site
- Coordinating with other departments, particularly accounting and operations
- Store Management
- Resolve issues about price, quality, delivery or billing with the vendors/suppliers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
