Purchase Manager

Job Description – Purchase Manager (Procurement)

Experienced mainly in the PURCHASE of street light equipment like Poles, Cables, Panels, Wires, and transformers.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates with B.Tech ( Electrical) / Diploma

Professional Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of experience

Candidates must possess experience in the following:

• Evaluating potential vendors & obtaining quotations and estimates from them
• Dealing with vendors & negotiating prices and terms of purchases,
• Comparing costs, finalising pricing & handling purchases
• Preparing/Reviewing Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Sale Challans, etc., in accordance with requirements
• Follow up with vendors for procurement & timely delivery of material
• Managing logistical arrangements- arranging and coordinating with transporters & drivers
• Reading BOQ, BOM, GFC drawings
• Floating RFQs (Request for Quotations)
• Technical & commercial bid evaluation (TBE/CBE)
• Ability to interpret technical specifications
• Follow up with transporters/drivers to ensure timely delivery of material
• Coordinating with field staff regarding present/future requirements of material on site
• Coordinating with other departments, particularly accounting and operations
• Store Management
• Resolve issues about price, quality, delivery or billing with the vendors/suppliers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
