Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate international suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage the import process, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, and supply disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import activities and transactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in import purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Thorough understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
