Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate international suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Manage the import process, including documentation and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, and supply disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all import activities and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in import purchasing or supply chain management.
- Thorough understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
