Job Description – Senior Purchase Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best commercial terms.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Analyze purchase data, forecast requirements, and manage inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with production, finance, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
  • Monitor market trends, risks, and pricing to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Supply Chain certification preferred).
  • 5 years of procurement experience.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge procurement best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
