Job Title: Purchase Manager – Civil Construction

Experience Required: 2 to 3 years in construction material procurement

Job Responsibilities:

* Identify and source construction materials, equipment, and services required

for civil projects.

* Evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure costeffectiveness

and quality.

* Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

* Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to forecast material

requirements.

* Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.

* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store team for material

flow.

* Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all

procurement activities.

* Track market trends and identify new suppliers and alternative materials.

* Handle purchase documentation, billing, GRN coordination, and payment

follow-ups.

Key Skills Required:

* Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and vendors

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills

* Good understanding of inventory and supply chain management

* Proficiency in ERP or procurement software

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field (preferred)

* MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management (optional)

* Proven experience as a Purchase Manager in the construction industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
