PURCHASE MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION ONLY)

We are looking a construction -Civil, purchasing manager

He has to take care of procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction civil projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality. His responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and developing procurement strategies and also handle purchase orders, track inventory, and manage supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with project goals and budget constraints.
  • Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Contract Management: Managing purchase orders, submittals, and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and managing stock to avoid shortages or excesses.
  • Cost Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable pricing, and tracking expenses to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or material price fluctuations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, such as cost savings, on-time delivery, and supplier performance.
  • Technical Duties: Preparing and maintaining purchasing records, producing management reports, and approving bills for payment.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in procurement.

Qualifications: Any graduate, MBA

Salary: 35000 to 45000 per month
