Purchase Manager ( Construction Industry)

We are hiring for Purchase Manager for interior fit-out industry

No of positions: 1 nos

Location: Chennai

Qualification: Graduate in Supply Chain/Business/Engineering (Civil/Interior preferred).

Experience: 8–12 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in interior contracting or fit-out industry.

Salary: Upto 7.2 Lakhs per annum

Responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and services for

interior contracting projects. Ensures timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and quality compliance while

coordinating with project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement plans as per project timelines and budgets.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors for interior materials (wood, laminates, veneers, paints,
  • lighting, furniture, sanitary fittings, hardware, etc.).
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and credit terms.
  • Coordinate with project/site teams for timely material delivery.
  • Monitor procurement costs, provide cost-saving solutions, and ensure budget adherence.
  • Oversee inventory, logistics, and material utilization.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Strong knowledge of interior materials, vendor management, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/Procurement tools.
