A Purchase Manager, also known as a Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager, is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for an organization. This includes developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and services at the best possible price. They also manage a team of buyers and purchasing agents, ensuring they adhere to ethical standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Implementing Purchasing Strategies: Creating and executing strategies to optimize the procurement process and achieve cost savings.
  • Managing Budgets: Overseeing and controlling the purchasing department's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiating Contracts: Negotiating favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Managing Purchasing Teams: Leading and supervising a team of buyers and purchasing agents.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Ensuring Quality: Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards.
  • Staying Updated: Keeping up with trends in procurement and purchasing technology.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing any issues that arise during the procurement process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
