Job Description – Purchase Manager

Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Salary: Up to ₹60,000 CTC

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop procurement strategies for raw materials and components.

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.

- Manage purchase orders, RFQs, and procurement documentation.

- Coordinate with production, quality, and stores for material planning.

- Ensure supplier quality and compliance with company standards.

- Maintain inventory levels, reduce costs, and monitor vendor performance.

- Handle reporting, MIS, and procurement analytics.

Qualifications:

- Graduate in Commerce/Engineering/Supply Chain. MBA preferred.

- 5–8 years in procurement (automotive/heavy manufacturing preferred).

- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and ERP skills.

Skills:

- Communication, analytical ability, teamwork, and time management.

- Understanding of automotive components and quality standards.

KPIs:

- Cost savings, on-time delivery, vendor quality, inventory turnover.

Compensation:

Up to ₹60,000 CTC per month, PF, insurance, and standard company benefits.
