Job Description (In Brief):
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and handle import/export processes. The ideal candidate must have specific experience in the paper industry, with strong knowledge of corrugated paper sheets and related materials. Prior industry exposure is essential to ensure relevant market knowledge, supplier contacts, and expertise in paper procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily purchasing operations and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
· Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to achieve cost-effective procurement.
· Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
· Oversee import/export documentation, compliance, and logistics coordination.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
· Proven purchasing experience (mandatory in the paper industry).
· In-depth knowledge of corrugated paper sheets, raw materials, and suppliers.
· Strong understanding of import/export regulations and documentation.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
