Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Officer to join our Procurement Department in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of relevant procurement experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing procedures. You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery timelines.
• Request and review quotations; analyze pricing and commercial terms.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
• Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Monitor inventory levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in vendor performance evaluation and maintain supplier relationships.
• Prepare procurement reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain principles, and local/international sourcing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE market and import regulations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPS or equivalent procurement certification.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
