Job description:
Procurement of Mechanical materials for Aerospace manufacturing industry with minimum experience of 1-5 years.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluating vendors, comparing their products, prices, and services
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best terms
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers
- Implementing and enforcing company procurement policies and procedures
- Reviewing quality of purchased products and resolving any discrepancies
- Working with team members and Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Negotiation skills
Education: Diploma (Mechanical) or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
