Purchase Officer

Job Responsibilities
1. Review stock purchase by monitoring market conditions, current stock levels and lead time required for manufacturing, potential price increases, anticipation of new orders from customers and suppliers’ conditions.

2. Manage local and overseas purchase enquiries including preparation of comparative cost statements, preparation of purchase orders.

3. Prioritization and management of purchases for multiple projects.

4. Daily liaising with other departments for forecasting and planning.

5. Negotiating payment terms with suppliers and vendors. Optimization of payments. Managing relationship with suppliers.

6. Stock and materials management.

7. Coordinating imports, dealing with customs, clearing agencies etc.

8. Coordinating delivery and dispatch of purchases.

9. Monitoring of purchases for the purposes of cost-cutting and effective budgeting.

10. New vendor development.

11. Experienced with Sheet metal, Fabrication materials, Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hardware and consumable.

Qualification:

• Dep./B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 – 8 years’ experience in Powder coating industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Awareness of all vendors / supplier / player in the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,009.29 - ₹45,690.00 per month
