Role Description

This is a full time, on site role for a Purchase Officer - Construction professional based in Dubai. The role involves managing construction procurement, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring the timely purchase of materials, maintaining records, and collaborating with the team to meet project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for administrative support, supplier communications, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement (construction industry preferred)
• Must be available for immediate joining or short notice period
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.) is often required
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry preferred
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with suppliers and team members
• Strong Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to maintain records and support daily operations
• Basic knowledge of accounting to manage budgets, invoices, and procurement documentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with construction materials and procurement processes is an advantage
