Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Officer with a strong background in the construction/contracting industry to manage procurement activities across projects and facility operations. The role involves supplier management, tendering, cost control, logistics coordination, and ensuring timely procurement within budget and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage procurement activities based on project and operational requirements.
• Handle purchase requisitions, RFQs, tenders, and quotation evaluations (technical & commercial).
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors; negotiate prices and terms.
• Issue purchase orders and manage contracts in line with approved budgets and timelines.
• Track order deliveries and coordinate with sites, warehouses, and logistics teams.
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables, spare parts, and facility supplies to avoid disruptions.
• Procure goods and services for facility operations including maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, non-compliance, and supplier disputes.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor costs, analyze market trends, and recommend cost-effective alternatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in a construction or contracting company in UAE
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP items, and facility-related procurement.
• Proven experience in tendering, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
