Job Title: Purchase Officer – Grow Bag (Coco Peat Industry)

Product: Coco Coir Substrates

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and source raw materials such as coco peat, liners, poly bags, and packaging materials for grow bag production.

2. Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.

3. Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize suppliers as per management approval.

4. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery to the factory.

5. Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments for stock updates, GRN, and invoice processing.

6. Monitor market trends and maintain updated price lists for key materials.

7. Maintain accurate purchase records and prepare periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly).

8. Participate in vendor audits and material inspections when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Any Degree / Diploma with 3–5 years of experience in purchase, preferably in the coco peat, horticulture, or agriculture industry.

2. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

3. Proficiency in MS Excel or ERP systems.

4. Good knowledge of raw materials used in grow bag manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
