Purchase & Store Manager – Laboratory

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Purchase & Store Manager for our Baroda branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, stock control, vendor coordination, and inventory audits across all Baroda laboratories. The role requires strong analytical ability, inventory management skills, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stock audits across all Baroda laboratory units.
  • Manage the complete Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) process.
  • Coordinate and follow up with vendors for timely supply of materials and consumables.
  • Monitor and perform accurate stock calculation and inventory control.
  • Ensure proper documentation of purchase and store records.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure timely procurement of laboratory consumables, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Work closely with lab operations team for material planning and requirement forecasting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of purchase and store management in laboratory setup.
  • Good communication and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and stock management ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple lab locations within Baroda.
  • Organized and detail-oriented approach.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the laboratory field (Diagnostic / Pathology / Healthcare setup preferred).
