Job Title: Purchase Trainee

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and procurement of raw materials, consumables, and engineering items.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, and vendor comparison sheets.
• Support vendor development, evaluation, and basic price negotiation activities.
• Follow up with suppliers for order confirmations, delivery status, and documentation.
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and update reports using MS Excel.
• Ensure timely procurement while adhering to cost, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
• Willingness to learn vendor management and supply chain operations.

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering / Supply Chain / Management or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
