Purchaser

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchaser to manage procurement activities for Mahum Asad. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, fabrics, trims, accessories, and other supplies required for luxury pret and bridal production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source quality fabrics, trims, and other raw materials for production.
• Maintain strong relationships with local vendors/suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet production deadlines.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and accounts departments to manage purchasing needs.
• Maintain purchase records and documentation for audit and reporting.
• Track market trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of proven experience as a Purchaser, preferably in fashion/textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and accessories used in luxury pret.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
