Key responsibilities
- Vendor management: Research, evaluate, and select potential vendors, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Procurement: Create and process purchase orders for necessary goods and services, ensuring they comply with company policies and regulations.
- Inventory and logistics: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses, and coordinate with shipping agencies to ensure the timely and quality delivery of goods.
- Cost analysis: Analyze market trends and product costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure the best value for the company.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor information, and invoices, and prepare reports on purchasing activities.
- Collaboration: Work with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and with other teams, like inventory management, to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and qualifications
- Skills: Negotiation, market research, cost analysis, and strong communication and organizational skills.
- Qualifications: Commerce related field.
- Experiance: 0 to 2 years
