Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers for materials, spare parts, and services
  • Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow-ups
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors
  • Ensure timely procurement of construction materials, machinery parts, fuel, and consumables
  • Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data, and rate comparisons
  • Coordinate with site team, accounts, and stores for material requirement and delivery
  • Ensure quality, quantity, and specifications as per requirement
  • Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory
  • Handle billing verification and coordinate with accounts for payment processing
  • Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any relevant degree preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience as Purchaser (Construction industry preferred)
  • Good knowledge of local vendors and market rates
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of GST, billing, and inventory
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP (if applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
