Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Purchaser who has strong knowledge of exhibition booth materials and printing materials. The ideal candidate must be able to source suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of all production-related items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Purchaser in printing/exhibition/joinery industry (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of materials: MDF, acrylic, metal, screws, paints, vinyl, printing media, electrical items, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and finalize purchasing decisions
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to handle urgent purchases and maintain stock levels
- UAE driving license preferred
- UAE market knowledge is a strong advantage
Responsibilities:
- Source materials required for printing, signage, fabrication, and booth production
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and place purchase orders
- Maintain and update vendor lists
- Coordinate with project managers and production teams for urgent requirements
- Track deliveries and ensure materials arrive on time
- Maintain stock records and ensure reorder levels
- Build strong relationships with reliable suppliers
- Prepare purchase reports and documentation
