Purchaser- Fit-out/Architect Italian

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for an Architect Coordinator/Purchaser - Interior Fit-out. The role involves coordinating architectural design and project integration, overseeing procurement for interior fit-out projects, and managing various aspects of project implementation. The position requires daily interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution from conception through completion.

Responsabilities

- International orders’ purchase and negotiating prices

- Creating price comparison between different quotations

- Coordinating delivery of materials to sites with logistics department

- Coordinating with team for specifications and drawings

- Coordinating with suppliers for order details

- Generating orders’ schedules

- Following up on orders until delivered

- Generating design BOQs based on 3D and material selection

- Arranging physical samples

- Attending client Meetings

- Proposing conceptual partial design (such as wall design, landscaping, etc..)

- Specifying lighting features in coordination with MEP department

- Specifying sanitary wares features in coordination with MEP department

- Visiting site, once required

- Handing over projects at finishing level, once required

- Providing technical data sheets and information to team about goods

- Addressing and resolve daily project challenges to keep work on track and within scope

- Creating mood boards for selected materials

- Sharing payments’ receipts with supplier and processing orders

- Meeting with suppliers to have updated information about the goods they are producing

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local and international suppliers

- Reporting any issues related to defective or incorrect parts to suppliers

- Assisting and report to Managing Director and Design manager
