We are looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in supermarket purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, and cost optimization.

Requirements:
✅ Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a supermarket, hypermarket, or retail environment.
Experience in discount supermarket purchasing will be highly preferred.
✅ Strong knowledge of FMCG, grocery, fresh food, and retail products.
✅ Ability to negotiate with suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
✅ Experience in inventory planning, stock replenishment, and demand forecasting.
✅ Good analytical and communication skills.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase products at the best quality and price.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with store operations and warehouse teams.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries.
