Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchaser (LHH) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality LHH items (Lights, Heavy, Household products) at competitive prices while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers for LHH category items.
- Request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms to achieve cost savings.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for replenishment.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments for material requirements and specifications.
- Track market trends and new product availability in the LHH category.
- Resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, quality, or invoices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in procurement/purchasing (LHH category preferred).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP purchasing systems.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
