We're currently seeking a reliable and proactive Purchaser & Warehouse Associate to support our field operations and ensure smooth coordination between material procurement and job site readiness. This dual-role position plays a key part in keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role combining purchasing and warehouse responsibilities. The ideal candidate has experience working with construction materials, understands the urgency of job site needs, and can manage inventory with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing (Approx. 50%)

• Source and purchase parts, materials, tools, and equipment from approved vendors
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
• Coordinate delivery schedules to meet project timelines
• Communicate with project managers and site supervisors regarding material needs and changes

Warehouse Operations (Approx. 50%)

• Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming materials
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas
• Prepare and stage materials for delivery to job sites
• Track usage and returns from job sites to update stock levels
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of materials

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing and/or warehouse roles within the construction industry
• Familiarity with common construction materials, tools, and suppliers
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with field and office teams
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for occasional site deliveries)
