We are looking to hire another Purchasing Account Manager Associate to perform a variety of tasks and support our company’s senior-level purchasing managers. To be successful in this role, you should be organized, and after training, be able to act without guidance. No experience necessary - If you can solve problems and critically think, we will train you on all the specifics of our industry. The primary function is to buy items and send restocking orders using the existing sales data.

Responsibilities include: Purchasing from assigned vendors, interpreting sales data, providing shipping estimates from sales data, creating sales listings, writing and correcting marketing materials; data entry, intellectual property compliance; preparing reports; customer service tasks. This position requires the ability to use google sheets and similar spreadsheet environments. We exclusively use google sheets for our work environment.

This is an office job. Your main task is to understand and digest our sales data/metrics and place orders for more of the same material that sells. Our primary sales goods are licensed childrens products (Disney, Marvel, Pokemon etc.). We moved 3.5M items over 4k SKUs last year to give you context.

Standards:

• Interpreting sales data through spreadsheets, graphs and figures is strictly necessary
• Must have college diploma or higher with a GPA >3.5
• Must be able to proficiently use google spreadsheets - this is our main work tool
• Must be able to read, write and speak English at a collegiate level
• Must have reliable transportation, phone & good attendance
• Must have a valid California driver's license

Scheduled office hours are M-F, 8 am - 4:30 pm (1/2 hour scheduled lunch break)

We are constantly creating new products in diverse categories, but primarily work with licensed children's products (Disney, Marvel Pokemon, etc). During training you will have to be in the office full time.

We offer quick promotions depending on skill ability. For example: If you are entry level you start at $30/hr. Within the first year of work you should be making at least $75k/year salary. Within 2 years you should well above $100k/year salary. This company rewards it's workers who perform. There is a lot of ability to move up in this company. You will need to take an excel based purchasing game test to see if you can properly understand buying and selling as it relates to this position.
