We are seeking a highly organized and technology-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support our purchasing and construction operations teams. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a technology-driven environment and is eager to learn new systems and processes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to leverage technology to support efficient purchasing operations and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.
This is not a management position. We are looking for a dedicated administrative professional who can support purchasing activities, maintain accurate records, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and help drive operational efficiency through the use of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily purchasing and procurement activities for residential construction projects
- Manage purchasing workflows and task tracking through monday.com
- Utilize AI-powered tools and technology platforms to support operational processes
- Create, track, and maintain purchase orders and related documentation
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, project managers, and field personnel
- Monitor material orders and delivery schedules to ensure timely project support
- Maintain accurate pricing, vendor, and purchasing records
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative support functions
- Review information for accuracy and identify discrepancies when necessary
- Support process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization efforts
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
- High level of computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms, systems, and processes.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and professional with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
- Experience in administrative support, purchasing, office coordination, operations support, or a related business function preferred.
- Experience working with project management, workflow, or business process software; familiarity with monday.com or similar platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools, automation technologies, or technology-driven workflows preferred.
- Construction, homebuilding, land development, or related industry experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work full-time in a collaborative, in-person office environment.
