Purchasing Agent

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for purchasing of all materials and services required for the manufacturing process.

This position is also responsible for purchasing of business services unrelated to manufacturing.

Job Responsibility Summary

• Purchasing of raw materials
• Purchasing of finished goods based on advised customer need
• Convert Purchase Requisitions to purchase orders
• Understand the global supply base
• Sourcing of new vendors and products both domestic and foreign
• Coordination with Logistics and Inventory to maintain minimum stock levels
• Product costing data to sales
• Purchasing of resources such as coatings and outsource fabrication
• Purchase order processing
• R&D sourcing and purchasing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
