We are seeking a self-motivated and friendly purchaser to join our growing team.

A purchasing job involves the procurement of goods and services to fulfill customer order requests. Duties include supply chain management, price evaluations, record keeping, purchase order entries, interdepartmental communication and tracking of inbound/outbound orders throughout the distribution process.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, quality product deliveries.
  • Create Purchase Orders as needed to procure stock and customer products.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Accounting Teams to facilitate order process.
  • Review Sales Team orders, monitoring their progress and making corrections as needed.
  • Verify accurate product, purchase and pricing information.
  • Assist in data entry and document preparation, maintaining electronic filing systems.
  • Effectively communicate with manufacturers our company needs.
  • Assist in managing stock levels and identifying potential products to stock.
  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate departments.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of professional experience providing administrative support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service-oriented experience
  • Understand the methods of basic mathematics and computations of prices
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills that demonstrate an attention to detail
  • Proven knowledge of purchasing principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or other related database management systems
  • Proficiency with:

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software

BPMS (Business Process Management) Software

Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud Suites

PDFs, Spreadsheets and standard office software

Pay: $40,600.00 - $47,000.00 per year
