Position Summary:

A Duie Pyle is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to provide insights that support purchasing decisions, optimize supplier performance, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing purchasing data, evaluating supplier performance, and assessing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Supporting sourcing initiatives, RFQs, and contract negotiations
  • Maintaining accurate purchase order records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with departments to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and support budget planning
  • Developing and maintaining key procurement reports and dashboards (e.g., spend analysis, supplier scorecards)
  • Assisting in supplier evaluations, onboarding, and performance reviews
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and contribute to procurement best practices

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain analysis (manufacturing or distribution experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The following skills are preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay or other data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of purchasing policies, contract management, and supplier compliance
  • Understanding of cost modeling and spend analysis
