Purchasing Team Positions –

QA/Vendor Relations, Research, and Pricing

We’re a hands-on working environment with a leadership style that values precision and consistency. Join our growing team and play a vital role in streamlining our purchasing operations! We’re looking for detail-oriented, proactive individuals for the following purchasing-focused roles:

Quality Assurance & Vendor Relations. We’re looking someone to be the go-to contact for vendor and warehouse communications.

This is an in-person position only.

Responsibilities include:

· Handling PO issues (shortages, mis-shipments, warranty claims, credits)

· Managing vendor communications, both verbal and written, regarding ETAs and order discrepancies

· Supporting the backorder report and ensuring vendor issues are resolved in a timely manner

· Assisting with custom part(s) ordering and tracking, following up on order confirmations and ensuring efficient processing

· Updating pricing and resolving basic catalog or website errors

· Submitting POs, managing drop shipments, and processing payments

· Handling pricing requests and assisting in lead generation for POs

We’re also looking to bridge the gap between purchasing and customer service by assisting with research and development!

Additional Responsibilities include:

· Researching replacements for our inventory of 100,000+ parts.

· Identifying discontinued parts and potential vendor replacements

· Assisting with the setup of new and special-orders as a part of customer requests

· Providing our in-house customer service team with replacement/substitution options

The following is not required but would be a large bonus in the world of door and window parts:

· Strong communication skills – Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

· Resourceful and proactive, problem solving as a team to improve our ever-growing systems and procedures

· Familiarity with door and window parts or the mechanics of them is a plus, but a willingness to learn is required

· Experience with small business operations, NetSuite software and iMac systems

We’re located in North Kansas City (south and east to Chicken and Pickle).

This is an hourly position with working hours of 8am-4pm, on-site.

This is an in-person only position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
