Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at Inline Tube. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our procurement processes, vendor relationships, and supply chain operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Work Location: In-person Shelby Twp, MI. This role does not offer a remote or hybrid option.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
• Manage vendor relationships to negotiate favorable terms and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
• Utilize our ERP for tracking orders, managing contracts, and analyzing purchasing data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with company goals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Monitor inventory records and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Proficiency in inventory management practices and tools.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
• Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
• Experience using ERP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
