Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description

Farmasi North American HQ in Miami is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator who will be responsible for the procurement of a wide variety of commodities, materials, supplies, equipment, and services as needed.

Main Responsibilities

· Manage all indirect purchasing requests and activities (for warehouse and office’s needs, office materials, technical equipment etc…),

· Act as strategic business partners, strong relationships with stakeholders/vendors

· Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers

· Develop and maintains business relationships with suppliers to preserve a good business reputation while still obtaining competitive prices

· Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels

· Analyze quotes from vendors & costs from potential suppliers and prepare for management review

· Build vendor relationships to secure the best prices on products and services

· Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the company

· Establish contractual commitments to ensure longer-term cost savings to meet departmental goals

· Facilitates effective contract execution and monitor contract compliance

Skill Set

· Bachelor’s degree preferably in a business-related subject. Preference for an individual Certified in Purchasing.

· Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience at a professional level.

· Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, and warehouse work environment

· GPO Implemantation

· Track record of achieving results

· Ability to deal with complexity and change

· Cost oriented

· Strong team player

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish

· Proven knowledge of MS Office application is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
