The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for executing all purchasing activities in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role supports the Purchasing and Realization teams to ensure supplies and services are under budget and on site when required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support day-to-day purchasing and sourcing activities, including issuing RFQs/RFPs, creating purchase orders, and coordinating with approved suppliers.

Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track orders, resolve delivery, pricing, and quality issues, and ensure timely fulfillment.

Assist with supplier evaluation and performance monitoring, including delivery, quality, and supply continuity metrics.

Support cost control, process improvement, and sourcing initiatives under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager.

Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system and support internal reporting needs.

Coordinate purchasing activities cross-functionally with Project Management, Engineering, Controls, Solutions Engineering, and Sales to ensure requirements are met.

Assist in maintaining an organized supply base by supporting supplier selection, documentation, and compliance efforts.

Perform general administrative support and office management duties related to office supplies, facility needs, and travel coordination.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
Some prior experience in purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing or automated logistics environment.
