Key Responsibilities: Purchasing Duties:
- Source and procure materials, furniture, and interior products based on project requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with design and production teams for timely material availability.
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain daily accounting records including purchases, petty cash, and bank transactions.
- Prepare and verify purchase invoices and ensure proper documentation for payments.
- Assist in reconciling supplier statements and managing accounts payable.
- Support in preparing monthly reports, VAT filing, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with auditors and finance teams as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2–4 years of experience in purchasing and accounting, preferably in the interior fit-out or furniture industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and materials (especially wood, hardware, upholstery, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and handle documentation accurately.
