Key Responsibilities: Purchasing Duties:

  • Source and procure materials, furniture, and interior products based on project requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams for timely material availability.

Accounting Duties:

  • Maintain daily accounting records including purchases, petty cash, and bank transactions.
  • Prepare and verify purchase invoices and ensure proper documentation for payments.
  • Assist in reconciling supplier statements and managing accounts payable.
  • Support in preparing monthly reports, VAT filing, and budgeting.
  • Coordinate with auditors and finance teams as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing and accounting, preferably in the interior fit-out or furniture industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local suppliers and materials (especially wood, hardware, upholstery, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and handle documentation accurately.
