Aremco is looking for a Purchasing and Documentation Specialist to support our purchasing and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Ownership: You will be responsible for ensuring that all paperwork pertaining to company sales and purchases (Requests for Quotations, Purchase Orders, freight documentation) is accurate, up to date and complete. Your job is to make sure documents are correct, properly filed, and processed on schedule.
  • Proactive information seeking: This role requires anticipating information needs before issues arise. You will search for missing or unclear information across invoices, documents, and internal systems; regularly asking clarifying questions; regular followup with vendors, customers and internal colleagues; staying attentive to incomplete or inconsistent information.
  • Communications with Customers: You will interact directly with customers by: handling direct general sales calls, writing up orders placed via phone call and email, sending product literature and safety data sheets, and providing clear, friendly and timely communication.
  • Computer Fluency: You must be comfortable using multiple simple software systems to track and complete paperwork. No specialized technical background is required; just competence using a computer.
  • Price Conscientiousness: You will help ensure that Aremco stays cost-effective by comparing supplier prices, confirming pricing accuracy, flagging inconsistencies or unexpected changes.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
