Purchasing & Inventory Associate

Overview
Seeking a motivated and analytical Purchasing & Inventory Associate to support our purchasing and inventory operations. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales and purchasing data, assisting with replenishment decisions, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with Microsoft Excel to identify trends and support business decisions. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in purchasing, inventory management, and business operations within a growing automotive parts distribution company.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and purchasing data
  • Create and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel
  • Monitor stock levels and identify products requiring replenishment
  • Assist with purchasing decisions and inventory planning
  • Report sales history and inventory turnover to support purchasing strategies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, pricing, and order status
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
  • Assist with product setup, data entry, and administrative tasks

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and filters
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large data sets
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
