Purchasing & Inventory Manager

Brand Nutra is a dietary supplement manufacturing and packaging facility.

This is a full-time position.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Overview: Brand Nutra is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing and Inventory Manager to join our team. The Purchasing & Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of products and materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring product availability while minimizing inventory costs. This role works closely with operations, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to support business growth and profitability. Salary based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Duties:

  • Manage purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory performance, including stock availability, reorder points, and inventory turnover.
  • Conduct inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and optimize inventory management processes.
  • Resolve purchasing, inventory, and supplier-related issues as they arise.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing & Inventory Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with materials management and production planning processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions based on market trends and pricing information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
