Position Overview

The Purchasing & Inventory Specialist is responsible for procuring material handling products, managing vendor relationships, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring incoming materials are received accurately and on time. This role is critical to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and supporting our sales and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase material handling products and warehouse equipment
• Manage vendor relationships, pricing, lead times, and performance
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock counts
• Receive incoming materials; verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders
• Track and organize inventory in the warehouse
• Coordinate with sales, project coordinators, and warehouse staff to ensure product availability
• Maintain purchasing and inventory data within Apple-based systems (MacOS) and company software
• Resolve discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, and inventory
• Support continuous improvement in procurement and inventory workflows

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in material handling, construction, industrial supply, or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of buying processes, vendor management, and inventory control
• Experience receiving, stocking, and organizing product
• Comfortable using MacOS and modern software tools
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced warehouse/office environment

Pay: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
