Purchasing & Logistics Officer

Job Nature

This is a hands on operational role, not a desk only or managerial position. Daily follow up with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams is required. We are looking for a hands on Purchasing & Logistics Officer to manage the full product cycle from supplier to warehouse and branches, including procurement, shipping, customs clearance, inventory entry, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Source products and communicate with suppliers and factories
Request quotations, negotiate prices, and create Purchase Orders (PO)
Follow up on production and order readiness
Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies
Handle customs clearance processes with brokers
Ensure all shipping documents are complete (Invoice, Packing List, HS Code)
Track shipments until arrival and resolve delays
Receive goods and ensure quantity/quality accuracy
Perform GRPO and product coding (SKU creation) in the system
Monitor warehouse and branch inventory levels
Replenish branches based on demand and stock levels

Inventory Analysis & Planning

Analyze stock movement (Fast / Slow / Dead Stock)
Support reorder planning based on sales data
Monitor Days of Inventory and stock coverage
Raise alerts for low stock or overstock situations

KPIs

Stock availability (no stock outs)
Lead time from order to warehouse
Accuracy of inventory entries
On time shipment and clearance
Branch replenishment efficiency
