We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and ensure a continuous supply of products at the best cost for a large company in the food industry. This role is key in developing supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and optimizing the overall supply base to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and the best landed costs.
  • Develop and implement supply agreements, pricing reviews, and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage new product launches, promotional activities, and inventory transitions.
  • Monitor supplier capacity and distribution capabilities to ensure quality, cost, and service expectations are met.
  • Prepare and present purchasing strategies and updates to leadership and board committees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 4–6+ years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
