Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Purchasing Manager
to lead and manage all procurement activities, including
local purchasing, international imports, and service-related procurement
. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the
Saudi market
, supplier management, and import regulations, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives

Manage
local and international suppliers
, including negotiation of prices, terms, and contracts

Handle
import purchasing
, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs clearance, and compliance with KSA regulations

Oversee procurement of
services, materials, equipment, and consumables
-
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards
-
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities
-
Coordinate with finance, operations, and warehouse teams for demand planning and inventory control
-
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports
-
Ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi procurement laws
-
Lead and mentor purchasing/procurement staff (if applicable)
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

10+ years of experience
in purchasing/procurement, preferably in KSA

Strong experience in
import procurement and local Saudi market purchasing

Knowledge of
Saudi customs, import regulations, and documentation

Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Fluency in
English
(Arabic is a strong advantage)
