Purchasing Manager - Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Purchasing Manager and Customer Service to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing customer inquiries, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring seamless communication across supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems such as Odoo along with a strong understanding of procurement management, inventory control, and vendor relations. Duties

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, inquiries, and issue resolution
• Support procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management
• Utilize ERP systems such as Odoo to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and manage supplier information
• Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and vendor management teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Assist in negotiations with suppliers to optimize pricing, terms, and contract conditions
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics including inventory management, procurement timelines, and vendor compliance
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes and resolve any disruptions or discrepancies

Experience

• Proven experience working with ERP systems such as odoo is highly desirable
• Strong background in procurement management, sourcing, and contract negotiation
• Knowledge of supply chain functions including inventory management, logistics, vendor management, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and inventory control techniques
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
• Experience in procurement or customer service roles within manufacturing or supply chain environments is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external vendors to ensure smooth operations

This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while supporting supply chain efficiency.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
