Purchasing Manager/Jewelry Experienced Person

Experience in retail jewellery or retail purchase is required.

Experience Required : If person belongs from Retail Jewelry (5-10 Years) or for Retail Purchase Management (3-4 years)

• Study and understand company sales data, customer buying patterns, and market demand.
• Analyze which products, categories, and price ranges customers are purchasing.
• Use customer insights to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Gain complete knowledge of existing stock, line items, and total SKUs.
• Understand SKU-wise price ranges and identify high-value and fast-moving SKUs.
• Prepare detailed SKU-wise planning sheets defining:
• Number of pieces to be maintained per SKU.
• Line-item-wise quantity requirements
• Analyze monthly sales data to understand:
• Quantity sold in each price range
• Demand trends for high-value and mid-value jewelry
• Ensure adequate stock availability based on monthly sales movement in each price bracket.
• Plan purchases based on approved SKU sheets and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with management for purchase approvals as per budget and stock norms.
• Ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving and high-demand SKUs.
• Maintain accurate purchase planning sheets and stock reports.
• Coordinate with sales, inventory, and management teams to align purchases with business goals.
• Support management with data-driven insights for improving stock rotation and sales performance.
