Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of goods and services necessary for production and operations.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Collaborate with production planning teams to align purchasing activities with manufacturing schedules.
  • Utilize SAP ERP and Oracle EBS systems for order processing and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives by sourcing products effectively for online sales channels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement.

Skills

  • Proficiency in inventory control techniques to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Experience with SAP, SAP ERP, and Oracle EBS for procurement processes.
