Provides administrative support to the Director of Supply Chain in tracking and managing Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Shipments, ordering of raw materials and assists with day to day functions of managing supply chain, purchasing and warehousing for a stainless steel manufacturer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for preparation and processing of Purchase Orders and Work Orders
  • Coordinate Supply Chain and Raw Materials for planning and on-time delivery
  • Maintain current pricing , purchasing records and data
  • Prepares reports as needed
  • Other duties as needed to support the Customer Service Team

  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Well developed inter-personal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to accurately multi-task
  • High lever of computer efficiency is a must along with a high skill level using Microsoft Office

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience with procurement and materials management
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
