Description:
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for basic replenishment, re-buying, and managing store merchandise. This position utilizes previous experience and judgment as a basis for planning and accomplishing goals in a variety of tasks. The Purchasing Specialist works under the general supervision of a Buyer.
Work Location: This position will be based out of the Home Office in Bozeman, Montana where we offer a flexible hybrid/ remote work environment.

Assist the Buyers in all areas of merchandise procurement.

Enter and transmit Purchase Orders into the system.

Monitor Purchase Orders to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery.

Contact suppliers to expedite delivery when necessary.

Resolve any receiving or invoice discrepancies that may arise.

Build relationships and maintain contact with stores and vendors.

Other related responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:

Strong Windows-based computer skills – especially with Excel and other Microsoft products.

Minimum of one-year previous related experience and/or training.

4-year degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent is preferred.
